Why Clients Choose Suvarna Counsel

A steady, considered practice focused entirely on pension-related legal matters.

Pension-Specific Expertise

Our practice focuses on Thai pension law, Social Security disputes, and cross-border entitlements — a narrow field where depth of knowledge matters.

Document-Led Methodology

Every engagement begins with a thorough review of records. We build cases on evidence, not assumptions — particularly important in administrative and tribunal proceedings.

Clear, Regular Communication

Clients receive written updates at each stage of their matter. You will always know where your case stands without needing to chase for information.

Foreign Retiree Experience

We regularly advise expatriates and foreign retirees residing in Thailand on pension entitlements, cross-border coordination, and Thai Social Security obligations.

Respectful Pace of Work

We do not rush files or apply pressure. Pension disputes are often emotionally significant. Our approach respects both the client's circumstances and the seriousness of each matter.

Transparent Fee Structure

Our fees are stated clearly from the outset and vary by service level. There are no hidden costs and no mid-engagement surprises — only honest, upfront engagement.

Frequently Asked Questions

Straightforward answers to questions we hear most often.

What types of pension matters do you handle?
We focus on pension entitlement reviews, Social Security disputes, administrative reviews before the SSO, and formal court proceedings in Labour Court and administrative tribunals. This includes matters involving both Thai nationals and foreign retirees residing in Thailand.
I am a foreign retiree living in Thailand. Can you assist me?
Yes. A significant portion of our clients are expatriates or foreign retirees. We have experience with cross-border pension considerations, coordination with overseas pension authorities, and the intersection of Thai Social Security entitlements with foreign pension schemes.
How long does a pension dispute typically take to resolve?
Timelines vary considerably depending on the complexity of the case and whether it proceeds through administrative channels or requires court proceedings. An entitlement review is typically completed within two to four weeks. Administrative disputes may take several months. Court proceedings in Labour Court can extend over a year or more. We provide realistic estimates at the outset.
What documents should I bring to the initial consultation?
It is helpful to bring any correspondence from the Social Security Office or relevant pension authority, employment records, contribution statements, identification documents, and any written decisions or notifications you have received. If you do not have all of these, we can assist you in identifying what is needed.
Are your fees fixed or billed by the hour?
Our service fees are fixed by engagement type rather than billed hourly. The Pension Entitlement Review is ฿1,800, Pension Dispute Representation is ฿8,400, and Court Proceedings representation is ฿10,500. These figures cover the defined scope of each service. If your matter requires work outside the standard scope, we will discuss any additional fee before proceeding.
How do I get started?
